After completing college at the University of Arizona, I attended dental school in Portland, Oregon. I remained at the Oregon Health Sciences University
where I completed a residency in periodontology and training in anesthesia.
In 2001, I retired from periodontics and now maintain a private practice in anesthesia for dentistry in Arizona.
I have academic appointments at both the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California and The University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine Dental Schools. Also, I teach at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program in Arizona, and the dental anesthesia residency sponsored by Lutheran Medical Center.
For a number of years. I have taught certification courses in parenteral moderate sedation. For the Oregon course, I’m the course director.
In my free time I’m a part-time flight instructor, holding CFI*, CFII** & MEI*** certificates.
